Engage! Cleveland aims to attract talent through signature event, 'Young Professionals Week'

3News is a media sponsor of the annual event series, which features events ranging from a Mayoral Town Hall to rock climbing.

CLEVELAND — The 8th Annual Cleveland Young Professionals Week, hosted by Engage! Cleveland, is official underway. 

From September 18 through September 25, the organization aims to highlight exciting adventures, experiences, and programs Cleveland has to offer young professionals.

The week features more than 30 fun activities including rock climbing, axe throwing, candle making and more. 

“[Cleveland Young Professionals Week] is an opportunity to get out and experience everything Cleveland has to offer,” said Ashley Basile Oeken, president of Engage! Cleveland, during an interview on WKYC Studios’ community show, "We The People." “Our goal is that people will fall in love with the city that we live in.” 

The annual weeklong event typically attracts more than 2,000 attendees each year.

WKYC Studios is the official media sponsor for the event. 3News' own political reporter, Mark Naymik will moderate a Mayoral Town Hall on Friday, September 24 from noon to 1:30 pm at the Cleveland Metropolitan Conference Center, located at 1375 E. 9th St. (2nd floor). 

General Admission to the event is $30. Attendants are encouraged to bring their questions for both candidates, Justin Bibb and Kevin Kelley. Tickets can be purchased online through Wednesday, September 22 at 4pm. For more information and to purchase tickets, click here
