The annual “Light The Night Walk” is back on Sunday, October 6 at Wade Oval. Festivities begin at 5 PM with music, inflatables, free flu shots, giveaways and much more. The opening ceremony is slated for sundown, immediately followed by a 1-mile walk and fireworks grand finale.

This is a national fundraising movement to raise awareness and commemorate lives touched by blood cancers. Those who take part in the walk will carry illuminated lanterns, white for survivors and patients, red for supporters and gold in memory of a lost loved one.

This event is being called a community celebration. New this year, patients and survivors can visit a mission area to celebrate any milestone in their treatment by ringing a special mission bell.
