LORAIN, Ohio — Second Harvest Food Bank is hosting multiple food distribution drives across Lorain County over the next two weeks.
Second Harvest will be handing out boxes of non-perishable food items with a no-contact approach. Those who are in need of assistance are asked to stay in their car and volunteers will place the donations in the trunk.
The location and dates are as follows (all drives start at noon unless otherwise noted:
- Oakwood Park - Thursday
- Brookside High School - Tuesday (2 p.m.)
- Black River Landing - April 22
- Lorain County Fairgrounds - April 23
- North Ridgeville Academic Center - April 27
- Ely Stadium - April 29
Organizers ask that you have a clean trunk with enough space so volunteers can place the box in your car. Items will not be placed in the front or back seats.
