CLEVELAND — The Metro45 food truck is a charity on wheels on a mission to help Northeast Ohio.
From feeding the homeless to training incarcerated people, executive chef Scott Teaman says their work is making a difference.
“They come here, they learn how to cook. When they get their release, they have a skill," he tells 3News' Austin Love. "That breaks the recidivism circle and they don’t go back to prison. We’re at a 93 percent success rate.”
Chef Teaman says watching somebody succeed through their mission "makes everything that much better."
“The smiles. The success. It’s real. You see something that actually happens.”
