RAVENNA, Ohio — Editor's note: the video in the player above is from a previous story.
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is investigating the drowning of a 64-year-old Ravenna man in Lake Hodgson.
Ravenna police and fire personnel were called to Lake Hodgson at 5331 Lakewood Road in Ravenna for a report of a capsized boat just after 8 p.m. on Monday evening. Before crews arrived, dispatch received a second call stating that there was a body in the lake.
When fire crews arrived, they found the body of a male in the water. The male was later identified as 64-year-old Albert Kovach of Ravenna. Kovach's truck was parked in a nearby area by a boat ramp.
The boat and fishing gear were brought back to shore by fire crews.
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources was contacted and will be conducting an investigation.
