FREEDOM TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Officials have in custody a man who allegedly robbed a Dollar General Store on Monday.
An investigation identified William J. Miller, 38, as a suspect. According to Portage County Sheriff's Office, the robbery happened on State Route 303 at about 8 p.m. Monday. Deputies said Miller went into the store and demanded cash from the stork clerk with a handgun.
No injuries were reported.
Miller was later found and taken into custody without incident. He is currently being held at the Portage County Jail. He was arraigned on a charge of aggravated robbery in Ravenna Courthouse Tuesday afternoon.
Deputies said Miller is also a person of interest in connection with an aggravated robbery on March 25 at Detour Drive Thru in Freedom Township.
