KENT, Ohio — Officials have safely located a 17-year-old Kent girl who had not been seen since Wednesday, just hours after a statewide alert was issued.

The exact circumstances surrounding how Megan was found have not been released, but authorities confirmed she is "alive and healthy" and is back with her family. They added "there is still much investigation to be done into what has transpired over the last 48 hours since Megan was last seen.
