ROCKY RIVER, Ohio — The Rocky River Police Department put Rocky River Middle School and Rocky River High School into a soft lockdown on Friday afternoon.
The soft lockdown occurred because the Rocky River Police Department was arresting robbery suspects that were located near the area of both the high school and middle school.
According to the Rocky River City School District, the soft lockdown was in effect from 1:45 to 2:05 p.m.
During this time, no visitors were allowed into the schools, but the activity within the schools remained the same as usual.
