CLEVELAND — On Tuesday, Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael C. O’Malley announced the sentencing of Stefhan Jackson, 22, who was arrested for six armed robberies in the Northeast Ohio area.

“Jackson was an urban terrorist who robbed numerous people at gunpoint,” said Prosecutor O’Malley. “This plea encompasses six different robberies, including one where he shot the victim. The streets of Cleveland are far safer with him in prison for decades.”

The robbery-spree began in December of 2018 after Jackson robbed a gas station on Montclair Avenue at gunpoint, holding up a 58-year-old attendant and getting away with roughly $500.

In January of 2019, Jackon robbed a gas station on Pearl Road in Cleveland, pointing a gun at two employees who called the police after locking themselves in a back room. Just hours later, Jackson and Vincent Walker, 31, robbed two men at their residence in Cleveland.

During the home-invasion, Walker and Jackson, along with a third unknown suspect, raided the home; stole the victims' keys, wallets, and phones; and shot at the two victims as they attempted to escape. One of the victims was shot in the torso.

Less than 24 hours later, Jackson robbed a gas station on Rocky River Drive, once again holding up an employee, 26, and threatening violence if the clerk did not hand over money. Jackson also attempted to steal a lottery box during this interaction.

Two days later, the serial robber hit-up a convenience store on Spring Road in Cleveland, pointing his gun at a 25-year-old employee and threatening his life. Jackson was able to flee the scene with cigars and approximately $300.

On September 22, 2019, Jackson, along with another male, robbed a 24-year-old at his own residence, breaking into the home while the victim was sleeping.

The two pointed a gun at him, pistol-whipped him, and repeatedly punched him in the head before forcing him to run from the property, naked. The two got away with more than $2,000.

Overall, Jackson pleaded guilty to five counts of Aggravated Robbery, two counts of felonious assault, and one count of Burglary.
