CANTON, Ohio — Jackson Township police have arrested a man after he allegedly tried to "lure" a 4-year-old boy and his father into his vehicle in Canton.
Police say the incident happened on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at around 6:45 p.m. in the 2900 block of Whipple Avenue Northwest.
After receiving reports of a suspicious person, police say they learned that the suspect allegedly "approached and attempted to lure a 4-year-old boy with his father into his vehicle for money."
Following the incident, Jackson Township Police arrested a 41-year-old man from Indiana. He was charged with child enticement and was booked into the Stark County Jail.
