A 29-year-old man is dead after he was shot on Canton's northeast side Saturday evening.
Police say the shooting occurred on the 2100 block of Midway Avenue Northeast around 7 p.m. The victim, identified as Donte Alexander, had been shot in his car and later died from his injuries at Mercy Medical Center.
Police on Monday announced the arrest of 24-year-old Mitch A. Greenlief in connection to the case. A warrant was also issued for the arrest of 24-year-old Curtis J. Williams, who remains at large.
The incident remains under investigation.
