STARK COUNTY, Ohio — A man is dead after crashing his motorcycle in Stark County on Wednesday, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
At approximately 1:05 p.m., deputies responded to a call of a motorcycle crash on Beechwood Avenue North in Washington Township. When they arrived, they found 53-year-old Dennis Warne of Minerva. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Stark County Coroner's Office.
According to an initial investigation, OSHP says Warne was riding southbound on Beechwood Avenue when he drove off the right side of the road striking a guardrail.
Warne was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The crash is under investigation.
