CANTON, Ohio — Stark County Sheriff's deputies are investigating what they believe is a murder-suicide after finding two people dead in Sugar Creek Township on Saturday morning.
Deputies responded to a 911 call in the 10800 block of Dolphin Street SW and found two people dead at the residence. The victims have been identified as 54-year-old Monica Merry, who is also the homeowner, and 66-year-old Carl Simmons of Beach City, Ohio.
While the Stark County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate this case, they say the incident appears to be domestic related.
