Four Summa Health specialties recognized by HealthGrades on America's 100 Best list

The healthcare facility also received numerous achievement awards.

CLEVELAND — Summa Health has once again been recognized by HealthGrades for excellence in several of its specialties. 

The hospital chain was named to America's 100 Best list which evaluates more than 4,500 hospitals around the United States. 

This year, Summa was applauded for their specializations in Stroke care, Pulmonary care,Gastrointestinal care, and Critical care. This is the second year in a row for two of the categories, and the third and fourth year for gastrointestinal care and critical care, respectively.

In addition to those accolades, the hospital also received achievement awards in the fields of Cardiac, Criticial, Gastrointestinal, Neurosciences, Pulmonary, and Vascular care. 

“These awards follow Summa Health’s recognition from earlier this year in which we achieved the Healthgrades 2020 America’s 250 Best Hospitals Award™,” said Cliff Deveny, M.D., President and CEO. He added, “Summa Health has had a longstanding commitment to quality and excellence in patient care and these rankings clearly demonstrate that.”
