On Thursday, Strano's attorney confirmed she appeared in court for her arraignment and entered a plea of guilty to the charge of OVI. The other charges were dismissed. Strano will undergo six days of treatment per the Ohio Driver Intervention Program. She will also have driving privileges granted after a 15-day hard time suspension. Following the hard time suspension, Strano's license will then be suspended for one year with privileges. She will also pay a fine and court costs.

According to the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department, officers were dispatched after a report came in about a possible intoxicated driver at around 7:30 p.m. Strano’s SUV was spotted on Akron-Peninsula Road going over 70 miles per hour in a 35 mph zone. Police say the vehicle was also unable to maintain its lane.
As she moved from Cuyahoga Falls into Akron, Strano’s car went off the road and crashed. Officers made contact with Strano and found she smelled of alcohol. She was seen by paramedics and declined to go to the hospital.
Strano was taken to the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department for field sobriety and breath tests. She was found to have a .244 BAC and was arrested. Strano was charged with OVI, having a high BAC, and driving in marked lanes or continuous lines of traffic.
When asked about the crash, Micki Byrnes, General Manager at WKYC Studios, said "This is a personnel matter and we are not going to comment at this time."
