With the holidays right around the corner, the Akron Zoo has announced its plans for its annual holiday lighting event on Friday, Nov. 25.
"Wild Lights," which will feature more than one million lights, light displays and synchronized light shows will take place on the following dates from 5-9 p.m.":
- Nov. 25-27
- Dec. 2-4
- Dec. 9-11
- Dec. 16-23
- Dec. 26-30
Guests will be able to enjoy the following while attending:
- Over one million lights and fun photo-ops throughout the zoo
- Visit with Santa Claus through Dec. 23
- Holly Jolly Hillside features lighted trees synchronized to music
- Rockin' Lighted Spectacular with a wall of animated lights set to holiday music presented by Coca-Cola
- Stop by Mrs. C's Sweets for s'mores and other treats
- Buy a glass of beer or add an adult jolt to your hot chocolate or coffee

The Akron Zoo will also offer a Wild Lights Safari Tour which can be booked HERE. The private golf cart tour will include a 45-minute staff-led golf cart tour, admission to Wild Lights, a complimentary holiday light-up necklace and s'mores kits.
