A 42-year-old Barberton man is facing several felony charges after investigators determined he engaged in sexual activity with two minor females.
The Summit County Sheriff's Office says it received word from an investigator from the Ohio Crimes Against Children Task Force that an individual in Barberton was downloading what was believed to be child pornography. Detectives obtained a search warrant for a house on Elmwood Avenue in Barberton and identified the suspect as Michael P. Keeran.
Experts from the Ohio Crimes Against Children Task Force performed computer forensic examinations on digital evidence found in the residence.
During the investigation, it was determined that Keeran engaged in sexual activity with two minor females.
Sheriff's deputies arrested Keeran on Monday and charged him with Pandering Obscenity Involving a Minor, Pandering Sexually Oriented Matter Involving a Minor, Gross Sexual Imposition, and Sexual Imposition. All but one of the charges are felonies.
Keeran was booked into the Summit County Jail.
