AKRON -- Authorities arrested the third suspect accused of robbing and killing an Akron man inside his home.
Officials found 19-year-old Davane Tyronne-Anthony Griffin hiding in a closet at an abandoned residence in the 3600 block of E.146th Street in Cleveland. Investigators said he was fleeing arrest and left the Akron area after the incident.
Police said Griffin along with two other suspects were involved in the death of Darryl Trammell, who was found shot inside of his home, on East Brookside Avenue, on Aug. 18.
The three men ransacked Trammell's house, taking a cell phone and hats.
The two other suspects: Dustin Terrel Melton, 29, of Akron, and Michael Jermaine Crockett II, 23, of Akron, remain behind bars in the Summit County Jail.
