The Hudson Police Department arrested 34-year-old Anthony Schupp at around 7:56 a.m. at his home. Schupp is being charged with criminal trespassing and inducing panic.

A complaint filed in the Stow Municipal Court alleges that Schupp caused panic and alarm after he allegedly trespassed onto Hudson High School property, leaving his truck there and trying to gain entry into the school after being placed on administrative leave.

According to Hudson officials, the incident happened while school wasn't in session and no students or staff members were in any danger.

At this time, the Hudson Police Department is working with the school's administration to address any concerns and "provide reassurance to the community."

Schupp pleaded not guilty on Thursday, where a bond of $2,500 was set and a no-contact order with Hudson City Schools. A pre-trial court hearing has been scheduled for Sept. 19 at 8:30 a.m.

According to Hudson High School's website, Schupp teaches business classes at the school and graduated from the University of Akron.

3News has reached out to Hudson City School District for a comment, but has not yet heard back.

The investigation remains ongoing and no other information has been released at this time.
