The Twinsburg shelter has over 250 rescued pets currently available for adoption. All animals over six months old will be available for a 50% discount with application approval.

“The Humane Society of Summit County has taken in over 1000 animals this year, and adoptions have not kept pace with the intake of vulnerable animals. We need our community now more than ever to open their hearts and homes to our homeless animals,” says Director of Operations Kristin Branagan. “Pet adoption has double the impact – when you give a pet a home, there is now space and resources available for another animal in need of our lifesaving services and a second chance at our shelter.”

According to the shelter, all animals are up-to-date on vaccinations and preventative treatments, are spayed or neutered and will be microchipped prior to their adoption.

If you are interested in adoption, schedule an appointment by calling the shelter at 330-487-0333.

For more information or to view the animals online, visit the Humane Society of Summit County's website at summithumane.org/adopt.
