Geronimo is taking a vacation.
The Humane Society of Summit County posted on its Facebook page, Thursday, that the long-time shelter dog was taking some time away from the limelight.
Geronimo became a house hold name after efforts to find him a furever home went awry.
With the help of a generous volunteer family who has spent extensive time with Geronimo through the years, he will have time to relax in a warm and loving household before continuing on the search for a forever home.
The Humane Society of Summit County’s Certified Professional Dog trainers are working closely with Geronimo to help him get adjusted to home life and practice his manners.
Applications are still being accepted for Geranimo's adoption. He needs an adult-only home, where he is the only pet. If you are interested, contact the Adoption Counselors at 330-487-0333.
