Sagamore Hills police looking to identify 2 dirt bike riders who allegedly vandalized township safety equipment

The police department is looking to identify two males seen on surveillance footage operating four-stroke dirt bikes at around 4:42 a.m. Thursday.

CLEVELAND — Police in Sagamore Hills are looking to the public for help identifying two people who allegedly vandalized the township's safety equipment on Thursday morning. 

The Sagamore Hills Police Department posted still photos from surveillance footage showing what the department says are two males operating four-stroke dirt bikes at around 4:42 a.m. Thursday. Police say the two men could be teenagers. 

According to the social media post, the men allegedly "vandalized some of our safety equipment, located in multiple locations around town." 

Police said one of the dirt bikes appears to be a red and white Honda while the other is a black bike of an unknown make.

"Someone knows these bikes and who they belong to," the department said.
