AKRON, Ohio — The Summit County Board of Elections has announced changes ahead of early voting.
If you plan on casting your vote ahead of the Nov. 5 general election, here's what you need to know.
In order to avoid traffic congestion at the Early Vote Center and ballot drop box, the Summit County Board of Elections has altered traffic partners, while saying the ballot drop box has been temporarily located to 450 Grant Street in Akron.

"To avoid traffic congestion and delays, all incoming and exiting traffic on Grant Street is restricted to RIGHT TURNS ONLY. To access the Early Vote Center, voters should enter at 470 Grant Street. They will then be directed to parking at the Early Vote Center," said the Summit County Board of Elections in a press release.
In addition, all exiting traffic must turn right. Officials say the ballot drop box is accessible 24/7 for those dropping off their ballots. All ballots must be received by Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 7:30 p.m.
Overflow parking for early voting is also available at 440 Wolf Ledges Parkway, 411 Wolf Ledges Parkway and 150 East Exchange Street.
Shuttle services will be provided at each overflow parking lot to take voters to and from the Early Vote Center.
"For each day of Early Voting, Shuttle service pickups at each overflow parking lot will end 30 minutes prior to the closing of the line to vote. Shuttle service from the Early Vote Center to each overflow parking lot will continue until 1 hour after the close of the line to vote," said the Summit County Board of Elections.
