On April 30, Summit County Sheriff's dispatch received a 911 call in which the caller described his neighbor "holding a gun to his wife's head in the front yard."

The caller told the dispatcher in the call, "Hurry and send help, he's about to pull the trigger."

Deputies responded to the location on Greensburg Road following the call. When they arrived they only found a woman at the location, unharmed. The woman told authorities that she was unaware of the emergency call and that no incident had occurred.

An investigation was launched into the identity of the person who made the 911 call. Police say Joshua R. Ake, 44, of Uniontown was identified as a suspect shortly after the investigation launched.

The victim at the location told deputies that she had conducted business with Ake and they recently had a disagreement. She also said Ake had left multiple harassing messages on her phone. Authorities matched the voice on victim's phone to the voice who called in the false threat.

A warrant was issued for Ake for making false alarms. He was arrested on July 30 and booked into the Summit County Jail.
