SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio — The Summit County Sheriff's Office reports that a 21-year-old has been taken into custody after allegedly stealing two firearms from a Coventry Township gun store.
According to a release, the robbery happened on March 21. Investigators determined that a suspect took two guns from an unlocked display case while a clerk was distracted.
On Tuesday, sheriff's deputies say that same suspect returned to the store in the same vehicle, wearing the same clothing. While one clerk kept the suspect distracted, another contacted the Summit County Sheriff's Office.
The suspect, identified as Kyozz Foster of Akron, was arrested and charged with theft from a federally licensed firearms dealer. Officials say one of the store's stolen guns was found inside Foster's vehicle during a search. He was taken to the Summit County Jail.
