TWINSBURG, Ohio — An investigation is underway after a rollover crash in Twinsburg Township sent two adults and four kids to the hospital.
According to the Summit County Sheriff's Office, the crash happened on Saturday at around 7 a.m. on I-480. Officials say that the driver of a 2007 Nissan Altima lost control, causing the vehicle to roll over in the westbound lanes of I-480.
Three adults and four kids, between the ages of five and seven years old, were in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
One of the adults was taken via helicopter to Hillcrest Hospital with life-threatening injuries. A second adult was taken to a local hospital and the third adult did not sustain any injuries in the crash. Additionally, four children were transported to Akron Children's Hospital by the Twinsburg and Reminderville Fire Departments.
At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
