3 Ohio bars cited for violating state's alcohol order

The list includes one bar in Akron.

Three bars in Ohio have been cited by the Ohio Investigative Unit (OIU) for violation of the state's current alcohol order and 10 p.m. curfew. 

According to a release sent from the OIU, Pegasus Pub in Akron, Captn' Morgans in Zanesville, and Frosty Mug Sports Bar LLC. in Marion were all found distributing alcohol to customers after 10 p.m.

Pegasus Pub received one citation for improper conduct- disorderly activity- after agents arrived around 11:20 p.m. and witnessed 20-plus patrons ignoring social distancing protocols, and still consuming alcoholic beverages. 

The other two bars were cited for improper conduct- disorderly activitiy- with little-to-no social distancing measures in place, and alcohol still being sold well after the 10 p.m. curfew.

Frosty Mug Sports Bar LLC. was also cited by the Marion Police Department for disorderly activity. The venue's liquor permit has received two additional past citations, one citation on January 12 at 12:10 a.m. and another for improper conduct - disorderly activity and improper conduct - drug use, on January 15.
