TOLEDO, Ohio — Production has been impacted at two different plants at Toledo's Jeep Assembly Complex, a Stellantis spokesperson told WTOL 11 Monday evening.
The Toledo South plant, which produces the Jeep Gladiator, is not running production this week, said spokesperson Ann Marie Fortunate.
"Stellantis continues to take the necessary actions to improve operations across the U.S. market in support of its dealer network; this includes making production adjustments where necessary to improve its competitiveness in the marketplace. The Company will continue to monitor the situation to assess whether further production adjustments are needed," Fortunate said in an emailed statement.

The Toledo North plant, which produces the Jeep Wrangler, has had production disrupted due to an issue with an external supplier. Fortunate clarified that this plant is not cutting production, though.
"Due to an issue with an external supplier, production at Stellantis’ Toledo North Assembly Plant has been disrupted. We are monitoring the situation on a shift-by-shift basis," she said.
More details about the disruption to the Toledo North plant's production were not provided.
Bruce Baumhower, president of the United Auto Workers Local 12, which represents employees at the plant, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
