In national news, former President Donald Trump is calling for his criminal trial to be moved out of Manhattan while he makes his way there from Florida for his arraignment on charges tied to a hush money payment made to former adult film star Stormy Daniels

In Ohio, a student has been arrested for bringing a gun to a Geauga County high school. Elsewhere, drag events went off without incident in Chardon over the weekend despite threats made ahead of the activities. Plus, Governor Mike DeWine addressed the state ahead of Ohio’s new distracted driving law going into effect on Tuesday, explaining how this new law changes what officers can pull you over for and how the state plans to educate people on the new rules for driving.
