West Geauga High School student Brandon Morrissette has been charged with attempted murder after bringing a gun to school on Monday. 

In Jackson Township, a 78-year-old cold case killer has been sentenced to life in prison for 2 murders that happened in the 1970s. In Akron, officials are preparing for the results of BCI’s investigation into the police killing of Jayland Walker. 

In national news, former President Donald Trump is speaking out against his 34 history-making felony charges, as Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine reminds people to protest peacefully if they choose to do so.
