Wickliffe High School holds celebration parade for seniors from Class of 2020

Following police escort parade, seniors from Wickliffe High School celebrated graduation with a virtual commencement ceremony.

CLEVELAND — Social distancing while celebrating. It's become the new norm for the Class of 2020 amid the coronavirus pandemic, especially in Northeast Ohio. Monday evening, hundreds gathered to celebrate the Wickliffe High School senior class of 2020 with a parade.

Along with a police escort and neighborhoods lining the streets, Wickliffe High School seniors were honored with a parade, followed by a virtual graduation ceremony.

The Wickliffe community was encouraged to take part in this special event by lining the parade route which traveled from the high school to Rockefeller to Ridge, Ridge to 300th, 300th to Euclid, Euclid to Lincoln, Lincoln to Ridge, and Ridge to the police station parking lot. 

Only minor traffic delays took place during the parade to honor the Wickliffe senior class of 2020.
