LEETONIA, Ohio — A Columbiana County man is feeling quite lucky, having won $1 million as part of the Ohio Lottery's "Ohio Bonus Cash" scratch-off game.
William Garlough purchased the winning ticket for $10 at Down on Main in his hometown of Leetonia, about 16 miles south of Youngstown. Officials say he chose the $500,000 cash option, meaning he will receive $360,000 after taxes.
According to the Ohio Lottery, Ohio Bonus Cash offers a roughly one in four chance of winning at least $10, with the grand prize being $40,000 a year for 25 years. As of Tuesday, just one top prize remains, with the following amounts also still up for grabs:
- $20,000: 4 remaining
- $10,000: 5 remaining
- $2,500: 33 remaining
- $1,000: 61 remaining
- $500: 129 remaining
- $250: 130 remaining
- $100: 2,804 remaining
- $50: 6,418 remaining
- $25: 6.994 remaining
- $20: 28,081 remaining
- $15: 22,880 remaining
- $10: 31,569 remaining

- Powerball winner hits $252.6 million jackpot after purchasing their ticket at the GetGo in Macedonia for the drawing held on Wednesday, April 19.
- Mega Millions winner gets a $1 million prize after buying the lucky ticket from a Circle K in Berea for the drawing on Tuesday, April 18.
- Lucky For Life winner hits the second-tier prize that pays out $25,000 a year for life in the drawing held on Wednesday, April 26. The lucky ticket was purchased at East End Express in Hubbard.
- Make My Year scratch-off winner gets $2.5 million grand prize after purchasing their ticket at a GetGo in Alliance on Friday, April 18.
