Just this week, eight people from the area have cashed in playing Ohio Lottery scratch-off games, including a $2.5 million winner.

CLEVELAND — Several Northeast Ohioans have hit it big recently while playing Ohio Lottery scratch-off tickets.

How big? We're not talking $100 or $500 (which any of us would be happy to win, by the way). These winnings are anywhere from the tens and hundreds of thousands, to millions of dollars.

What does all of this mean? First off, clearly you can't win if you don't play. Secondly, it seems like a good idea to buy a scratch-off ticket after you finish filling up your tank at the gas station. Good luck!
