CLEVELAND — Although nobody hit the $270 million jackpot in the latest Powerball drawing that was held on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022, the Ohio Lottery says there are still thousands of people taking home smaller amounts of prize money.
In Ohio, 16,880 winning tickets were sold. Those smaller prizes in Ohio are listed as follows:
$200 prize: 23 winners
$100 prize: 44 winners
$14 prize: 551 winners
$8 prize: 4,294 winners
$7 prize: 1,235 winners
$4 prize: 10,733 winners
The lucky numbers in the drawing from Saturday night are 3, 9, 21, 24, 29 and Powerball 14. The Power Play option was 2.
The jackpot now grows to $285 million, with a cash value worth $151.2 million. The next drawing will take place on Monday, Sept. 26.
Powerball lottery officials say the odds of hitting the jackpot are one in 292,201,338.00, which is slightly better than the Mega Millions odds of one in 302,575,350. The odds of hitting a $1 million winning ticket in Powerball, meanwhile, are one in 11,688,053.52.
