WINNER! Lottery player hits $1 million prize on scratch-off ticket in Northeast Ohio: See where the lucky ticket was sold

COPLEY, Ohio — A winning scratch-off ticket worth $1 million was recently hit in Summit County as the Ohio Lottery says the big winner was sold at the Stoney Hill’s Sunoco station at 4640 Medina Road in Copley, which is near the intersection of South Hametown Road.

Ohio Lottery officials say the winning ticket was in the Extreme Millions game, which is a $30 scratch-off.

The winner, who was not identified, chose the cash option of $500,000.

“After mandatory state and federal tax totaling 28 percent, she will take home approximately $360,000,” according to the Ohio Lottery.

Feeling lucky? The Ohio Lottery says the Extreme Millions game still has the following prizes yet to be won as of Nov. 11:

  • $40,000 a year for 25 years ($1 million): 17 prizes remaining
  • $50,000 prize: 17 remaining

  • $1,000 prize: 6,203 remaining
  • $500 prize: 38,847 remaining
  • $200 prize: 43,143 remaining
  • $100 prize: 494,730 remaining
  • $50 prize: 691,864 remaining
  • $40 prize: 694,864 remaining
  • $30 prize: 1,046,453 remaining

The odds of winning any of the above prices in the Extreme Millions game are 1 in 2.87, according to the Ohio Lottery.
