COLUMBUS, Ohio — Although nobody hit the $401 million jackpot in the latest Powerball drawing that was held Monday, Oct. 10, 2022, the Ohio Lottery says there are still thousands of people taking home smaller amounts of prize money.
Those smaller prizes sold in Ohio are listed as follows:
- $100,000 prize: 1 winner
- $50,000 prize: 2 winners
- $200 prize: 26 winners
- $100 prize: 47 winners
- $14 prize: 618 winners
- $8 prize: 3,679 winners
- $7 prize: 1,168 winners
- $4 prize: 9,313 winners
The lucky numbers in the drawing from Monday night are 3, 6, 11, 17, 22 with Powerball 11. The Power Play option was 2x.
The jackpot now grows to $420 million with a cash option worth $215.2 million for the next Powerball drawing on Wednesday, Oct. 12.
Powerball lottery officials say the odds of hitting the jackpot are one in 292,201,338.00, which is slightly better than the Mega Millions odds of one in 302,575,350. The odds of hitting a $1 million winning ticket in Powerball, meanwhile, are one in 11,688,053.52.
Speaking of Mega Millions, its jackpot has now grown to $445 million.
