MADISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Police are seeking more potential victims of a man who is facing sex crime charges involving minors.

Police say Anthony Colandangelo, 49, is facing federal charges for allegedly receiving and distributing computer files containing child porn. FBI and police executed search warrants on residences in Madison and Perry on April 16 to collect evidence related to the alleged crimes.

Colandangelo appeared in Painesville Municipal Court Thursday on charges of gross sexual imposition and disseminating matter harmful to a juvenile as a result of a Madison Township police investigation involving a child victim. Bond was issued at $100,000.

Police have expanded the investigation to Ashtabula and Geauga counties, where more victims are believed to live.

Police say they believe Colandangelo used to frequently visit parks in Geauga, Lake and Ashtabula counties, where he may have met other children.

Anyone who may be a victim or witness to Colandangelo's crimes should call police at 440-428-2117.
