BEDFORD HEIGHTS, Ohio — U.S. Marshals on Tuesday captured a man who allegedly shot his boss at a Cleveland plating factory last week.
Andre Stanton, 28, was captured at an apartment building in the 24000 block of Rockside Road in Bedford Heights Tuesday. When officers knocked at the door, they spotted Stanton leaping from a fifth floor balcony to a fourth floor balcony in attempt to flee. He broke inside the fourth floor apartment and was later found hiding inside a cubby hole on the first floor of the building.
The victim was taken to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center with wounds to his leg, abdomen, chest and neck. While he was "conscious and breathing," his exact condition remains unknown.
Stanton was taken to Bedford Hospital with minor injuries.
The shooting happened Friday, when Stanton allegedly shot his boss several times at MPC plating factory on E. 63rd Street. Authorities said Stanton was fired for poor performance two days prior to the shooting.
Stanton is charged with attempted murder.
