MILTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- A 48-year-old woman has died from her injuries in a Sunday afternoon motorcycle crash.
Investigators say Christina Troyer of Creston was riding as a motorcycle passenger when a crash took place at 4:55 p.m. on County Road 504 west of Route 73 in Milton Township.
Troyer was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities say it happened as the driver of a 2008 Mercury Sable was attempting to turn left into a private drive when he “failed to yield” and struck the 2017 Harley Davidson Street Glide.
The motorcycle’s driver, a 47-year-old man, survived the crash and was LifeFlighted to Akron City Hospital with serious injuries. Investigators say he did not have a motorcycle endorsement.
The driver of the Sable, a 55-year-old man, was not hurt.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
No charges have been filed as the investigation continues.
