Matt LeBlanc is not resting on his sitcom laurels.
The Friends alum, who currently stars in Showtime's Episodes and last week was named a co-host of BBC America's Top Gear, has a potential new comedy series, too.
CBS Monday ordered a pilot for the fittingly titled I'm Not Your Friend. LeBlanc will be an executive producer and the star of the show, whose multi-camera format is conducive to filming in front of a studio audience.
In Friend, "A contractor learns that raising his kids is more challenging than expected when his wife goes back to work," according to a description of the show. Jeff and Jackie Filgo are the writers and executive producers.
LeBlanc will also be seen together with four of his Friends castmates in a Feb. 21 NBC special celebrating the stellar directing career of James Burrows, who has directed such hit shows as Friends, Cheers, Taxi and Will & Grace.
