These '90s stars are cooking up something new

 

 

 

 

You may have heard, Freddie Prinze Jr., star of the '90s classics She's All That and I Know What You Did Last Summer recently released a cookbook, Back to the Kitchen: 75 Delicious, Real Recipes (& True Stories) From a Food-Obsessed Actor. Well, turns out he is not the only '90s star stirring up fun in the kitchen. Several of our favorite 90s stars are finding success and exploring a new passion in food, whether it be hosting, cooking or penning their own cookbooks, including his wife Sarah Michelle Gellar. We rounded up six stars who are stirring up something tasty.

The actress launched her company Food Stirs earlier this year. The monthly subscription service delivers baking kits filled with non-gmo and organic ingredients and fun for the family.

Tiffani Thiessen

The actress hosts her own cooking show, Dinner at Tiffani's on the Cooking Channel. In addition to sharing some of her favorite dinner party meals, her show includes guest appearances by some of her favorite co-stars. 

'90s moment: Who didn't wish they were Kelly Kapowski on Saved by the Bell

Ali Larter

 

The actress penned Kitchen Revelry: A Year of Festive Menus from My Home to Yours back in 2013. She continues to share her recipes and traditions on her lifestyle blog AliLarter.com. 

'90s moment: She had a memorable moment on the big screen in the 1999 film Varsity Blues, where whipped cream was her wardrobe. 

Alfonso Ribeiro

 

The actor has carved a nice niche over the years, hosting several television shows. One of our faves, Unwrapped 2.0 on the Cooking Channel where Ribeiro shares the behind-the-scenes stories of America's favorite snack foods. 

'90s moment: He was the preppy, conservative, Tom Jones loving cousin Carlton to Will Smith's character in Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.  

 

Trisha Yearwood

 

 

The country singer has hosted her own cooking show, Traisha's Southern Kitchen, for seven years on the Food Network. She has also written several cookbooks, most recently Trisha's Table: My Feel-Good Favorites for a Balanced Life.

 

'90s moment: She had major commercial and critical success throughout the 90s, including winning the Best Female Country Vocal Performance for the hit How Do I Live, from Con Air soundtrack.

Tia Mowry

 

 

The actress shares her life, including family, friends and favorite recipes, on the Cooking Channel show Tia Mowry at Home. Recipes she shares include her menu for her son's 5th birthday party and grilling short-ribs with her dad. 

 

'90s moment: She and her twin sister Tamara played, what else, twin sisters on one of the '90s famous "TGIF" shows Sister, Sister

 

Patricia Heaton

 

The actress shared her tips for entertaining and cooking party-friendly foods on her Food Network show Patricia Heaton Parties

'90s moment: She starred as Debra, wife to Ray Ramon's character Ray Barone, in Everybody Loves Raymond.
