One dead, another injured in shooting on Cleveland's east side

CLEVELAND — A 26-year-old male is deceased after a shooting on Cleveland's east side Saturday night.

Officers on patrol near East 93rd Street and Sophia Avenue head shots fired in the area,just before midnight. Shortly after they were called to the 9500 block of Sophia Avenue for reports of a man shot.

At the scene,Damon Moore, 26, was found lying in the street unconscious. He was transported to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

A second victim, a 21-year-old man, arrived at St. Vincent Charity Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transferred to MetroHealth, where he is currently being treated. There is no word on his condition at this time. 

After speaking with witnesses, police learned that a music video was being filmed at the time of the shooting.
