CLEVELAND — After weeks of campaigning, the day has finally arrived. Northeast Ohio voters are hitting the polls Tuesday in a special election to decide who will make the November ballot in Ohio’s 11th Congressional District race.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I CAN VOTE IN THIS RACE?
This election is limited to Ohio residents who live in the 11th Congressional District, which includes portions of Cuyahoga and Summit counties. Not sure if you’re eligible? CLICK HERE to find out.
WHAT IS THIS ELECTION FOR?
This special election is being held to fill the state’s open congressional seat, which was left empty after Marcia Fudge was selected to serve as the U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development within President Joe Biden’s administration earlier this year.
WHEN ARE THE POLLS OPEN?
The polls open on Tuesday, Aug. 3 at 6:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m.
