Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine, Democratic nominee Nan Whaley visit Cleveland ahead of Tuesday's election

The two will spend the last days of their campaigns visiting different parts of the state.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine and his opponent, Democratic gubernatorial nominee Nan Whaley, are making a number of stops in the Cleveland area before Tuesday's midterm election.

On Monday morning, Gov. DeWine greeted riders at Tower City before making a stop at Grumpy's Cafe in Tremont. DeWine then visited the West Side Market.

The rest of Governor's schedule for the day is as follows:

  • 10:35 a.m. -- A visit to Bay Diner on Dover Center Road in Bay Village 
  • 11:15 a.m. -- A stop at Joe's Deli on Hilliard Road in Rocky River

Meanwhile, Whaley's campaign outlined her visit throughout Northeast Ohio as follows: 

  • 10 a.m. -- A stop at West Side Market on West 25th Street in Cleveland
  • 12 p.m. -- A stop at Risman Plaza at Kent State University with Portage County Treasurer and candidate for County Auditor Brad Cromes, candidate for State Rep. Kathleen Clyde, candidate for Attorney General Jeff Crossman, Portage County voters 
  • 3 p.m. --  A stop at Democratic Headquarters on West Market Street in Akron with candidate for Attorney General Jeff Crossman, Summit County voters

Whaley will also pay visits to Worthington, Wyoming, Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton through Tuesday.
