CLEVELAND — Just over a week before he is scheduled to debate former Vice President Joe Biden in Cleveland, President Donald Trump will make a campaign stop in the Buckeye State.
President Trump will hold a rally at the Grand Aire hangar at the Toledo Express Airport in Swanton on Monday, September 21 at 7:00 p.m. The doors will open at 4:00 p.m. and you can click here for ticket information.
The trip by Trump to the Toledo area comes just days after Vice President Mike Pence holds a campaign rally in Zanesville. Last month, the president held a fundraiser in Bratenahl and visited the Whirlpool plant in Clyde. Polling done earlier this month showed the president holding a narrow 50%-45% lead over Biden in Ohio.
Trump and Biden will square off at the Health Education Campus (HEC) of Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Clinic on Tuesday, Sept. 29, inside the Sheila and Eric Samson Pavilion.
The debate will be 90 minutes long, airing from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The event will consist of six 15 minute segments. Fox News anchor Chris Wallace will serve as the debate's moderator.
