Skyline Chili closes Brooklyn location, will open new restaurant in same area in 2020

Looks like residents won't have to wait to long for the cheese coneys to return.

It appears chili lovers in Brooklyn will have to go somewhere else to satisfy their craving, at least for the time being.

Skyline Chili's location in Ridge Park Square closed its doors last month, the company confirmed to WKYC this afternoon. According to a Tweet sent yesterday, the restaurant lost its lease and was forced to vacate.

Skyline's only Northeast Ohio locations are now in Lyndhurst and Stow, both at least a half hour away from Brooklyn. However, residents won't have to wait to long for the cheese coneys to return.

The company tells us a new location will be opening up on Tiedeman Road some time in 2020. While the exact location is not yet known (we've been told potentially Brooklyn or Parma), the road itself is just two miles from Ridge Park Square.
