AKRON, Ohio — The I Promise News Team is exploring the world of dinosaurs with the help of Akron Fossils & Science Center.
Akron Fossils & Science Center is a place for hands-on education of the world past present and future. Visitors can hold real fossils, make their own replicas, and interact with live animals. Programming includes monthly Super Science Saturdays, student science classes, overnight lock-ins and summer camps.
Alexandria Schall, the center’s outreach coordinator sits down to with the I Promise News team to talk about their science programming and show off some fossils. Including one that can be found in Ohio and another call coprolite, that is fossilized dinosaur poop.
“3 Questions” can be seen on “What’s New” at 4pm on Fridays. The interviews are recorded at the Kaulig Media Lab at the I Promise School. The project is a partnership between Kaulig Companies, LeBron James Family Foundation & WKYC Studios.
