PLAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- One man was injured in a fiery crash into a Plain Township home early Monday morning.
Stark County Sheriff's Deputies say Ronald Stromsky, 42, was heading north on Middlebranch Avenue NE at high speed when he lost control of his car, striking a utility pole. His car then hit a traffic sign before crashing into a home in the 8000 block of Middlebranch Avenue NE, catching fire.
Stromsky was taken to Mercy Medical Center. His injuries were not life-threatening. He was charged with reckless operation and license forfeiture suspension.
No major damage was reported at the house and no other injuries were reported. The crash remains under investigation by the Stark County Sheriff's Department.
