CLEVELAND — U.S. Marshals are now offering a reward for information leading to the capture of a fugitive accused of having sex with a minor.
U.S. Marshals say Prophet R.L. Bynoe, who also goes by the name Taj Mahal Frazer, is wanted for lying to authorities during a previous arrest. He's also a suspect in an unlawful sex with a minor case.
Bynoe runs the Shiloh New Life Tabernacle Center and Prophet Bynoe Ministries in Cleveland. According to his website, he has a wife and daughter.
Authorities spent several hours last Friday outside an East Cleveland apartment building where Bynoe was believed to be hiding. Because Bynoe was answering police through the Ring.com app, they believed he was inside. Police later determined that was not the case and Bynoe was not in the building.
Bynoe has previous convictions for narcotics-related offenses, and has served a significant amount of time behind bars.
Anyone with information on Bynoe's location should call 1-866-4WANTED.
