CANTON, Ohio -- Scott Winter, the man charged with skinning and killing a dog, was in a Canton courtroom Friday morning where his bond was set at $250,000.
Winter, of Warren, is also accused of posting video of the crime on social media.
During the brief hearing, a judge also ordered that Winter may not have any contact with animals.
A status conference hearing has been scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 9 at 1 p.m. with a preliminary hearing scheduled for Friday, Aug. 10 at 1:30 p.m.
His girlfriend, Vicky Young, has also been charged with a second degree misdemeanor, with sources telling WKYC a dog skull was found in a fire pit in Warren.
